On Sunday evening, I had the pleasure of attending a concert at the minor-league ballpark in Geneva, Illinois. On the lineup were a The Congregation, Andrew Bird, and Wilco. The Illinois Writing Project has been awarded $1,400 from the Illinois Reading Council Literacy Support Grants committee. The monies will be used to provide supplies and books to use at Writing Camps for Kids in July, 2012.
