The Illinois Writing Project (IWP) provides professional development on teaching writing, reading, and the application of both skills for learning across the curriculum and across whole schools.


Affiliated with the National Writing Project and based at National-Louis University, the IWP serves Chicago and all of Northern Illinois.

Sign up now for IWP’s Summer Leadership Institute on Teaching Writing, weekdays July 15-30 (plus a pre-Institute session May 29 and post-session Sept. 29).

Or attend our shorter one-week Workshop on Teaching Writing July 15-19

 

Both take place at Addison Trail High School this year, 213 N. Lombard Rd., Addison, IL.

(Easy to reach from expressways)

 

A modest stipend is available for the first 25 Institute registrants.

Charge for the one-week Workshop is $275.
